A wedding day at Paviljoen Puur
Nicole started in her parents’ house. She hasn’t lived here for a long time, but still it gives that extra atmosphere. Your parents can read the paper in peace and quiet and have a cup of tea or coffee. There was a bowl of fresh fruit on the table forthe bride to grab. And the possibility of your mom who comes by once in a while and asks if you want another drink. That feeling. At home.
A groom with a taste of his own. Fine details!
Photo shoot in IJmuiden
Daniel started in IJmuiden. They had found a nice photogenic hotel. Sohe had a relaxed start + beautiful surroundings. Lovely, isn’t it? Then Daniel got in the car to pick up his bride. We had decided by now that it would be nice to do the “First Look” in the garden and so it happened. After this moment we went out for the photo shoot. Initially the intention was to take photos somewhere in Amsterdam, but actually this place in IJmuiden was also great. Nice contrast to the bride and groom. Although those poppies do fit well of course.
So the first look was in the garden. But because this was decided upon later, it was still a task to walk between the bushes.
It wasn’t even really our intention to take photos between the flowers, but we simply couldn’t resist taking advantage of all those beautiful poppies!
The harbour of IJmuiden is so photogenic! The perfect place for a wedding photo shoot.
Wedding at Pavilion Puur
Then on to Pavilion Puur. And how hot it was by now! A few more umbrellas were placed and the ceremony could begin. Behind the main building, in a nice sheltered field. Romanticism at its best. A beautiful ceremony followed with lots of personal words and here and there an emotional moment.
That moment when you walk down the aisle at your father’s hand….
The ceremony was followed by a few more speeches, lots of good food, a gingerbread cake table and games on the lawn. Finished off with a nice party night. This wedding has to be in our wedding photography portfolio. We even had a sample wedding album made! In turquoise, quite fitting for the day.
Gingerbread and a great old Triumph!
Speeches are always a great time to find out more about the bride and groom ;)
The guests had a great time with drinks and games on the grass. What luck with the weather!
In between, a few speeches took place.
Outside dining at your wedding, with your guests, enjoying fine bites, great speeches and each other’s company. The groom is having a blast!
The couple received a unique gift for their wedding day.
Evening shoot at sunset at Paviljoen Puur
Because the light was so beautiful, that evening, we “stole” a few more minutes from this day to take a few pictures during “The Golden Hour”. That’s why these photos have lovely warm evening light. Of course we also made use of the cranes which were to be seen at several places.
For us, the day ended after the first dance. We took another fifteen minutes of pictures and then put our cameras back in our bags. This was a great colorful and fun wedding day at Paviljoen Puur in Diemen!
