Olympics at your wedding
How long ago this marriage was! Last summer we got to capture this amazing day. The party consisted of a group of Americans (because of the bride) a group of Dutch (because of the groom) and all the dear friends they have gathered during their studies, all over the world.
This company was also very athletic. The bride and groom had thought that during their wedding, Olympic games would be held. Or at least: this was going to be an active day. With hikes, Sumo wrestling moments, rolling across the water in big balls, archery and, of course, Dutch traditions such as haringhappen.

The groom even got a personal training session in the morning! A number of other gym-buddies participated. Thus, the groom had gotten to know this group of people (each and every one) and so this was also a too-cool way to get to know each other among themselves.
Getting married at Landgoed Duin en Kruidberg
The wedding ceremony took place in the garden of Landgoed Duin and Kruidberg, an extremely chic estate located in Santpoort-North. The bride was led away to the altar by her parents, while in front of them a highly skilled flower groomer scattered the flowers.
After the ceremony, the party walked through the gardens of Landgoed Duin and Kruidberg back toward the building. Here a fine drink moment took place with congratulations, cake, toast and beautiful words.
We didn’t have much time for the photo shoot (after all, it was a super busy day) and so we took some great photos in a short time, after which the bride and groom joined us for dinner.
This wedding couple had arranged a silent disco for the evening. A great option when you do want to dance, but it is not allowed, for example, due to noise pollution. For this wedding, at least, it was a great opportunity to dance outside together.
