Sometimes you go through one of those weddings that is Pinterest-worthy. So did Elisa & Richard’s wedding at Fort Resort Beemster. One of those venues where, of course, you can get married beautifully outside, but on the contrary, you also have an insanely beautiful hall inside. Especially when it is beautifully styled with arbor, flowers and candles.
Getting married at Fort Resort Beemster
Really nice day. The morning began with rain and cold, but as the day progressed it became increasingly sunny. So sunny that the bride and groom were even able to eat under the tent, outside! But just a little overview with what made this day so unique. I’m going to show you lots of beautiful styling with flowers, blush and gold and here and there white of course.
The moment Richard thanked his parents with a beautiful letter. In the morning. Such a bond with your parents is unique. Moments like these make our work great.
The photo shoot in the arboretum. A place you drive right past, but really very beautiful. We didn’t have hours, but we were still able to take advantage of the most beautiful spots. The atmosphere was romantic and totally suited this couple.
Ah yes and then entering the wedding venue, Fort Beemster was also so much fun. A special place, anyway because it is a fortress, but we ourselves have not experienced such a place before. Minerals have been used everywhere you look. Even the toilets are still special here! The stylist had made it a very romantic vintage setting.
The photo above and the one below were taken almost at the same time.
Romantic wedding, with Dirk Zeelenberg, styling and a relaxed atmosphere
Yes, just a wedding day with Dirk Zeelenberg as wedding officiant! This was the first time we experienced him. The wedding guests responded super enthusiastically.
And then that ceremony setting. Even though the initial idea was to get married outside, inside was perhaps even more beautiful. And also that styling. Wow! Oh and as you can see: Elisa was given away by her mother. A beautiful moment.
The cake. I have never seen such a cake in real life. Really, . when I think back on it! By the way, we ourselves had such a delicious donut.
Dining at Fort Beemster
Outdoor dining with your family and friends. In fact, we don’t even make it very often anymore, but when we can, the atmosphere is top notch. This wedding couple was also able to enjoy dinner outside. With delicious food, beautiful styling and, above all, each other’s company.
The Beach House at Wijk aan Zee
An evening shoot at The Beach House. This venue is “in the family” of this bride and groom, so it was the perfect location for a fine celebration. I liked so much that this location had a totally different atmosphere from Fort Beemster again. In fact, where before everything was sunny and open, now you had much more of a cozy and snug atmosphere. Top arranged.
Wedding photos at sunset
We were able to take some fine photos with the setting sun. The perfect ending to a beautiful wedding day! In about ten minutes we ran to the water, chose the most perfect spot and quickly took these photos. The great thing about such a short photo shoot is that you not only get beautiful images, but also have some time together. Just to take a moment together to reflect on such a special day.
