Ullerberg Estate
Those undiscovered places… we love them. And that is exactly what Daniëlle and Martijn had for their wedding day: a location where we had not been yet. Now we know the area around Leuvenum pretty well and we were secretly quite curious about what Ullerberg Estate would look like, so it was even more fun to actually visit it!
Anyway, this was actually a treat of a Dutch wedding day…. A radiant bride and groom, two beautiful children, styling, flowers and live music. And then also a great wedding officiant with a super personal story! And then also a great wedding officiant with a super personal story!
Preparations in wedding photos
I started this day at the bride’s home. She was here with her daughter, while Martijn and their son were in another place. When Daniëlle was done with her preparations and had her wedding dress on, she wanted to help her daughter put it on herself!
Actually it is fair that Danielle helped her daughter, because her daughter also helped her a lot with getting dressed: )
The first look took place in the front yard. Martijn came to pick up the bride in a Maserati and saw his bride at the door. Of course the children were also present at this special moment.
Photo shoot in Leuvenum
We did the photo shoot in the forest and heath of Leuvenum. A lovely place where it is quiet, where you can park easily and where you just have a lot of different beautiful spots. Both between all the trees and with high grass, some open spaces and here and there Foxglove.
This location was perfect for this moment and also fitted perfectly with the rest of the wedding day.
The children could also run around here. They also dived under the veil of their mother.
The second part of the photo shoot was without children. Grandpa and grandma already drove with them to the wedding location. So Martijn and Daniëlle had time to read vows to each other.
The first ceremony took place in the beautiful church of Staverden Estate. The children came walking forward, after which the wedding ceremony started pretty soon.
Afterwards the wedding ceremony took place at Landgoed Ullerberg. The ceremony area was beautifully decorated with chairs, flowers, tree trunks and more decorations. The atmosphere was fantastic!
Father and son and mother and daughter came running together!
Get married at Landgoed Ullerberg
And look how beautiful this place is! On one side you see forest, there is heathland, there is open plain. And then that cute little woodshed. Really a unique location and that so close to Elburg…. it was only a half hour’s drive.
Musical wedding ceremony
This wedding ceremony was so special! The wedding officiant had written a beautiful personal story, with the pianist and singer Lars playing and singing pieces of music each time. I have, I think, never experienced such a musical wedding ceremony! Truly an interplay between words and music. Highly recommended!
Walk through the forest
I think it was about a ten minute walk, towards the reception place. Near a beautiful clearing stood a tent and a table, filled with delicacies. This is where the rest of the afternoon would take place. But before we got there, I tried to take as many pictures as possible of this in between moment. The girls quickly ran ahead of me!
It’s wonderful how children experience a wedding completely in their own way.
I ended the shoot with some images of ice cream (a favorite of the couple), group photos and thank you gifts (yeey, plants!) and then drove back to Elburg. A beautiful full day with lots of eye candy!
