This location … what a unique place in the Netherlands. The building is a wonderful blend of chic and modern. Combine that with a little bit of your own styling and you have a dreamy wedding day.
So is this marriage. The couple decided to spend an entire weekend getting married at Parc Broekhuizen. And we get to showcase some key moments from their wedding day. Vivian ter Huurne, wedding planner, introduced us to this bride and groom and how delighted we are!
The preparations took place in one of Parc Broekhuizen’s suites. The bride and her witnesses were prepared and not much later, her little daughter was also prepared for the day here.
So nice to see those little girls dreaming away at that beautiful wedding dress and, of course, the dress for the bridesmaid!
Meanwhile, the groom was in The Painting Room getting ready. Their little son also came here, so all the men were together for their own moment.
Grandma helped the bridesmaid put on through that beautiful dress. What a fine moment this must have been!
By early afternoon, everyone was ready. The wedding dress went on, champagne was toasted and then it was time for the first look. The groom and kids got ready and hoppa: time to see each other!
We took a number of photos in just under half an hour. At first we were able to photograph the bride and groom outside, but when it did start to rain a bit we decided to make sure to take pictures inside Parc Broekhuizen as well. Of course, this is and always will be a beautiful photogenic wedding venue.
Getting married at Parc Broekhuizen
Since it was a rainy day, it was decided to get married in a white tent. Just before the ceremony began, it had become warm enough to raise the sides. This still made it really feel like you were sitting outside. And because this was a white tent, the colors were also beautiful to see.
After the wedding ceremony, the party walked to the Coach House. Here a delicious Sweet Table was ready, so the bride and groom could make a toast and then enjoy a delicious treat.
The speeches on this day were fantastic! There were films made, a newspaper designed and pieces performed, all made especially for this bride and groom.
When you get married at Parc Broekhuizen, you can use all the rooms. The nice thing is that you then move as a company several times as well. Here the company walked from the Coach House to the Main Building. And of course we like to capture moments like that.
After drinks, the party walked back. The entertainment act The Italians made live music and took everyone from the Main Building to the Wedding Tent. Italian singing, guitar music and then also a handkerchief moment: the atmosphere was right there!
Just before the party started, we took a few pictures in front of the Main Building and then the bride and groom were able to come in for their first dance. Later it turned out that this evening would have many highlights!
There was a real flashmob first, in which the bride danced along and the groom could watch!
The band Boomerang played many times during this evening. The band, the singing, the visuals, wow!
In between there was also a very short time to jump in the bouncy castle. Because it rained earlier that day, it wasn’t quite possible for the kids to play dry, but luckily the bouncy castle was still used!
And as, perhaps, the highlight: Be the Discoball! The room was darkened, the spotlights came on and this act began. We had never seen anything like it before and were very impressed, as were the guests.
