Every once and a while we have a wedding in Amsterdam. And every once and a while, Ramon photographs weddings on his own. This is his first, Amsterdam, wedding. And I’m pretty proud of the result ; ) And look at that wonderfull industrial location Pllek!
Preparation time
This wedding day started with some wedding preps. Both Carolien (Dutch) and Aleksander (Estonia) were in the same apartment. In two different rooms, so they couldn’t see each other. Ramon photographed both their preparations and when it was time for the first look he shot that too.
It’s lovely to see two families coming together. Both their mums hugging.
The Amsterdam Canals wedding photo
When in Amsterdam, you kinda have to take photos near the canals. This is one of those spots where you see a summary of “Amsterdamness”: bicycles, canals, old canal houses and a lot of atmosphere.
NDSM time
Carolien and Alex choose the NDSM shipyard / warf for some more wedding photos. I love how those colors pop! This area is quite famous, because it is kind of hipster. We always love the diversity of the locations here. Some are very colorful, some are very dark, but always “different”.
Their wedding venue was Pllek, a very industrial location near the water. Look at those chairs and those happy faces!
And a little evening shoot for a small intimate moment and photos as a bonus.
