This is a special day. A day that started near a lake. At a wonderful home, filled with people that were thrilled that their special day was here. Anjuli had her make-up time in her home, while her sisters in law, friends and both mothers were there as well. And in the background you could see two of her kids, running around. The eldest was with dad, the two youngest with mum. What a perfect way to start a day.
Arrival by boat
A couple of hours later the boat arrived. Rolf, with the eldest son, traveled across Lake Loosdrecht (de Loosdrechtse Plassen) to pick up his bride. The party was about to start ;)
Wedding ceremony with a view
This couple got married at Finley “Het Witte Huis” (The White House, a name that’s pretty accurate when you see the building). It’s a venue, near Amsterdam and Schiphol. Where you can see water, have clear views over the lake and enjoy Holland in general. This couple chose Het Witte Huis, because they have a home near this venue. The food is great, it’s a unique location and they loved all the options they had. A party outside, with piano bar, a party inside as well, they had dinner, enjoyed loads of great food and drinks and had a superb day.
Inviting an artist
So the main act of the evening was a performance by Dutch Artist Nielson. Not only the couple but also their kids and guests enjoyed this half an hour of pure entertainment. And before and after Nielson people could enjoy FloorJaxx and some other musicians. It was a great great day, all mixed together beautifully by Vivian, owner of Het Bruidsmeisje.
Anjuli made sure that they had bespoke hangers for their clothing.
It’s so nice to have great friends who share moments like these.

Anjuli suddenly realized the weight of the moment when she was looking at her kids singing the wedding contract: this is it!
