Every wedding is different. Sometimes you are walking around Amsterdam for an urban wedding and other times you are photographing at a castle. But there are a few things that make our photographers’ hearts beat faster. And this wedding was definitely one of them, because it was a farm wedding on their own property with a couple with children. How wonderful to be able to capture all that happiness?
Ramon photographed this wedding on his own. He first recorded the preparations. Iris was made up by her sister. So the morning was wonderfully relaxing.
Farm wedding in the backyard
Iris first had a little first look with her father. Then Joost walked ahead to the ceremony site with their sons (their little daughter also came to the ceremony site). And up front, at the ceremony in the backyard, they then saw each other. The ceremony could begin!

Getting married with children
It is wonderful to photograph all those little moments with children. Every wedding is different anyway, but with children, you just never know what’s going to happen. This makes a day extra fun to capture.

The photo shoot took place near the farm. When getting married in the countryside, it is also nice to do the photo shoot at a matching location. So nice among the tall grass in a beautiful green setting.
After the photo shoot, it was time to walk back to the farm for the rest of the day.
What fine wedding styling was provided for this farm wedding! Those wooden boxes, the flowers, the atmosphere: everything was perfectly matched without being too much.
Iris threw her bouquet and it was caught!
Ramon photographed much of the dinner. This also allowed him to photograph some pretty emotional speeches, which really captured the mood of the day nicely in the photo. This was a fine day to witness!
